4th Grade
PERSONAL LOG-IN:
Students in 4th grade have access to their own personal log-in and password so that they may log in on any computer or iPad at school and be able to save their documents, slide presentations, spreadsheets and research projects. Their Username is cougars\\firstname.lastname. The initial password is Summer 2017 and then they can change their password to something personal they can remember.
ROBOTS and iMovies:
Students will work with partners and create iMovies with the iPads and also learn about our new Robots, Dash and Dot and how to use code to program them to move, talk and light up! Students will also work on Word Documents, Power Points, Excel, Publisher, Paint, Cyber Safety and Digital Citizenship this year in Tech!
GOOGLE SKETCH-UP
Students will continue to design houses and other architecture plans and learn more skills in 4th Grade.
CODING and KEYBOARDING:
Fourth Graders continue to perfect their coding skills at Code.org and have their own personal account with username and secret character to access it. CCS has purchased a new keyboarding program called Type to Learn 4 so students will practice keyboarding and gain accuracy and speed.
